Congratulations to our senior girls basketball team, who went to OFSAA last week. They played hard, but unfortunately were not victorious in their match-ups. When asked about it, Coach Giamachelle said, “Just getting to OFSAA was a great accomplishment. And most of our players can return next year, so we have a great chance to go to OFSAA again. The highlight of the tournament was when we were down by 20 early in the 2nd quarter, playing the 4th place team, but we rallied to cut it to 5 points. We played our best basketball of the season in that game.” Congratulations ladies and good luck next year! Go Raiders!
