2011 Grade 8 Youth Rally

On Tuesday, 11 members of STA’s chaplaincy team went to the 2011 Youth Rally at Mary Mother of God parish. The students acted as young apostles, working to inspire the Grade 8’s who attended the rally to put their faith in action.
Brian Dunn, the school chaplain, was the Master of Ceremonies, jumping onstage in increasingly goofy outfits as he talked to the kids about their faith journey.

The theme this year was “Our Father”. The rally’s purpose was to get the grade 8 students at the feeder schools to see God as an important part of their lives. They were spoken to by many great examples of catholic leadership, including Chris Stefanik, who has spoken at STA before.
The STA students were complimented by many teachers for their enthusiastic participation, dancing to all of the songs and even managing to convince some of the grade 8 students to get out of their comfort zones.
Way to show your spirit STA!
