By Angeline Hawthorn Math, chemistry, physics, biology and exercise science. These are just some of the great courses offered annually at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School. Notice anything? Well the students of STA sure have and the results have been detrimental. Well I suppose you could call them Blakelock students now. Where has the

It is a Small Lot!
“They paved paradise to put up a parking lot.” –Joni Mitchell (Big Yellow Bus)
Driving seems a right-of-passage for many youth here North America. Indeed this is reflected here at STA, where a good portion of the student body drives or, at the very least, are licenced to do so. With such a large portion of the school population relying on it, one would assume that this new building would be equipped with a well-designed, state-of-the-art parking lot. According to some students, however, this is not the case.
An Aquinas Christmas

The boys lost their first two games, won the next, lost their fourth game and then, thanks to the boy’s continual perseverance, they won the next four! When interviewed Coach Boyle, said; “Considering down 3
Turf Of Our Own
For several years, STA students have been without a field, instead practicing and playing on fields across Halton. The construction of a new school had completed last school year, but work on the field had to wait until the spring. Not having a field, however, hadn’t slowed Aquinas athletes down with last year being an
Raider Pride at Inside Ride
On Friday, May 6th, the staff and students of St. Thomas Aquinas participated in their third annual Inside Ride. The STA community demonstrated once again their same heart as $39 000 was raised for childhood cancer. As a part of the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation, the Inside Ride works towards making a significant
Reflections of HOPE
In April, two groups of Aquinas students traveled to the Dominican Republic to build homes for families in need. This was the second year a group from STA has made the journey, however, this year the camera was rolling. Share
