A work of art, a masterpiece, whatever you want to call it – people love Love, Simon.
I personally found this movie to have something for everyone. From the bit of mystery as you wonder who Blue is, the raw family dynamics and the ever-relatable love triangle, Love, Simon really has something for all moviegoers.
This film got me thinking about how our idea of who someone is is only a reflection of what they choose to show, not who they actually are. It is a very realistic portrayal of what it means to be a teenager in the 21st century, especially with all the struggles of miscommunication that are all too common. The characters were well-developed, humorous and moving.
I would highly recommend Love, Simon to anyone, regardless of age, gender or orientation. I promise that you will NOT be disappointed!
